This was a fun project I did with my agency H+ where I helped on creative-direction while creating frames and animation on the TikTok’s "Runway Labyrinth" project.
Project bio: H+ Creative partnered up with Tiktok and Influencer, Frankie Jonas, thanks to mixed reality agency Trigger, to put together a unique concert series hosted on the social platform. Artists, Switzon S. Wigfall, Smeccea, Blake Kathryn, Blunt Action, FVCKRENDER, MBSJQ, & Vincent Viriot modeled and animated backdrops for musical talents, Lubalin, CL, & Khalid. Each artist had the opportunity to illustrate their own vision through 3D depictions of their personal worlds.
Kraken, one of the largest and oldest Bitcoin exchanges, teamed up with me from the H+ agency to celebrate a better future through imagination and creativity. The artists' work was featured and shared on Billboards throughout London and Manchester, United Kingdom.
ROLE: 3D Modeling, Digital Illustration, Art Direction
CLIENT: Kraken
PRODUCER: H+ Creative
PROJECT BRIEF:
To inspire the viewer to reimagine the conventional.
Begin by illustrating a dull figure in a bleak world.
Shedding his bleak shell indicates an inner inspiration.
The very ground begins to shape a new world, bursting beautiful array of colors and designs.
This world now encapsulates the essence of Adobe Creative Suite, creating a realm where imagination and design unite, urging the viewer to ‘Imagine Without Limits’.

I just had to. MTV has been one of my favorite TV channels and brands since I was a little kid. Here I wanted to capture the essence that MTV brings in music, news and pop culture with cell animation full of color and vibrant energy.
The sound and music is by a very talented sound-design friend of mine by the name of:
EmmoLei Sankofa - You can download and enjoy a bunch of her creative works at: E-Sankofa.com/ info@e-sankofa.com
Syfy logo resolve for 2015 [passion.project]
I always loved the clean 3d eye candy syfy logo resolve animations I would see from the network and also many other talented motion media designers, so I thought I would make one myself (but just with a few interesting film effects to add a unique visual aesthetic to create more of an impact when the logo falls to the floor). Couldn't think of a better person to knock out some sweet sound design other than my good friend and creative partner Markus Schultze (who usually goes by the name of "Cool Trickle").

This is a Network ID collaborative project for El Major (an independent network channel for a client in Buenos Aires, Argentina). I had the pleasure to work alongside with my friend and creative partner Cynthia Rovira. Our goal was to create a lively-fun, yet refined and fresh bumper for this new brand.

This is a video installation I created from an old vj clip called "Sexyshape-trafficjam-default" that was projected in the Samitaur in LA. My visual for the Samitaur tower emphasizes movement and rhythm: applying it to a large display where traffic is the surrounding audience of this busy LA location.
Where to begin?
First and foremost If you haven’t used the "wiggle"command: the expression in After Effects that gives your object layers a little shake, then you are missing out. Luckily, my team and I decided to jazz it up a little.
At first I was thinking of animating a basic info-graphic about the super incredible powerful "Wiggle command" in After Effects: making it pretty basic and straight to the point with some very cool detailed looking assets, and then we thought: "No! Let's have some fun with this. Using my voice (as the cool radio late night voiceover guy) with a mix of raunchiness and sexy awkward humor, using the simplest objects to fulfill our info-graphic: "geometric shapes".
Naturally I'm a sucker for geometric shape animations and Electronic-New Wave-dub-reggae fusion-alternative dance music (like "Santigold's"), so working on this personally with the help of a few friends, was well worth it esp. for our passion and love for After-Effects.
About the "Wiggle" Command in AE | BASIC (in general):
Rather than adding several random keyframes for certain properties to animate your objects like: "rotation", "scale", "opacity" and so on, a much faster and more flexible way to do that is to use a Wiggle expression (plugging in a set of numbers), which automatically creates the animation in your objects for you.
About the "Wiggle" Command in AE | (MORE IN GENERAL)
Wiggle allows you add randomness to a property of a layer. For example you can cause a jittery chaotic motion to a layer by applying the wiggle expression to the Position property of a layer. To create the wiggle expression Command+Click on the layer property stopwatch and enter the formula wiggle(freq, amp ,octave). The elements of the expression represent how the wiggle will be calculated. [an error occurred while processing this directive]For this discussion, open After Effects, create a New Composition, and create a 200 pixel by 200 pixel solid. With the solid layer selected in the Timeline, press the P key to display the Position property for the layer. Command+Click (Alt+Click in Windows) the Stopwatch Icon, and in the expression window add the expression wiggle (15, 50, 1).
Frequency defines how many wiggles happen each second. In this case 15 wiggles are happening every second, or every other frame.
Amp is calculated in units of the property for which it is applied. In our example, since we are applying the expression to the position property, 50 says that the layer can move 50 pixels in any direction.
The final value, Octave is the level of detail the wiggle should have. It should be noted that you don’t have to use this third value in your expression. If you do not include it, After Effects will use the default value of 1 will be applied. So the expression could actually be written wiggle (15,50).
There are also plenty more tutorials on how to create the "wiggling" command expression in your animations for After Effects. Here are a few and enjoy!

BRIEF:
Savannah "A Day in the Life - SCAD Savvies" is a forty-second visual representation of the unique blend of characters on SCAD Savannah's campus and how they somehow interact with each other but don't even know it. Similar to the opening for the Simpsons we wanted to create a very vibrant fun filled stop motion process that was active and energetic. We see SCAD's campus that very same way: we are all our own unique characters on set with our own personalities that truly shape and define who we are as a person, embracing our talents together as a community or family at SCAD. Each and every character comes from a different path in life, but somehow connects with the next character beside them as it causes a powerful connection between them as it grows and spreads to all corners of SCAD's campus and beyond.
Some familiar characters that we run or bump into day to day are skateboarders, professors, hipsters on the go and on their bicycles and many more on SCAD's campus. With this unique blend of individuality, it helped our story unfold into many colors of a very important message: We are all filled with great talents combining them together with each other creating a whole new world of creative energy. We thought that the concept of stop-motion with cut out prints and colored paper would be perfect for this collaborative project because just like all of the different characters on SCAD Savannah's campus. It helped us find the solution to the problem of showing this in a very rough-cut, edgy, colorful and beautiful way. "A Day in the Life" is a simple depiction of what we truly go through at SCAD Savannah's campus as students, professors, and colleagues: embracing the shinning stars that we truly are in our hearts and minds making SCAD the best place to learn, embrace, teach, and come together as one."

This collaborative project is a title sequence for a motion graphics conference sponsored by SCAD entitled COMOTION 2013 where I lead and produce this project for helping animate and bringing all the concepts together as “Creative Director”.
The piece features a character that is facing the same obstacles everyday, as in the myth of Sisyphus. We abstracted the obstacles into primary shapes and envisioned live action composited with 3d and vector graphics to highlight the hybrid nature of the Motion Media discipline. We also wanted to take advantage of our proximity to the ocean and utilize that environment. Because Comotion was a day long event we decided to spread the sequence in various segments throughout the day, and before each speaker, with a climax at the very end of the event.
